The Qualicum Beach and Parksville real estate market has seen increased single-family home inventory over the past year. Currently, 186 single-family homes are for sale, up from 168 during the same period last year. Since January, 1,072 single-family homes have been listed, with 551 of those properties selling. However, the current sell-to-list ratio of 51.4% represents a decline from 60.09% in the same period last year.

This week, I visited the Black Bird Schnitzel Haus and tried their daily special - a delectable Breaded Pork Schnitzel served with Perogies, Red Cabbage, Green Beans, and German Fried Potatoes.
